IdeaTree Design provides engineering and product design services for nonprofit organizations and socially conscious startups. This venture creates a bridge between talented engineering students desiring meaningful projects and organizations in need of high quality work at prices they can afford. Prospective design projects in 2007-2008 include a composting toilet to be used in Haiti and Guatamala, a wheelchair coupler for a Chicago-based facility for the physically disabled, and clean energy methods for a nonprofit in Texas.
